Welcome to Golang Health. By registering, accessing, or utilizing our digital platform, applications, or services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully.
Golang Health is NOT an emergency medical response service. If you or someone in your care is experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, acute chest pain, severe trauma, or acute shortness of breath, please immediately contact national emergency services at 112 or 10177, or visit your nearest hospital emergency facility.
Golang Health ("the Platform") operates an integrated digital healthcare marketplace and management portal in the Republic of South Africa. The Platform connects patients with verified independent medical doctors, clinical nurses, pharmacies, diagnostic laboratories, and medical couriers. Golang Health provides technology enablement, booking facilitation, telehealth infrastructure, and communication tools. Independent healthcare professionals remain solely responsible for medical diagnoses, clinical decisions, and healthcare treatment.
All healthcare practitioners on the Platform warrant that they maintain active, valid registrations with their respective South African statutory councils, including the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), the South African Nursing Council (SANC), and the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC). Practitioners agree to practice strictly within their registered scope of practice and adhere to HPCSA and SANC ethical standards.
To access clinical consultations, home visits, or patient management features, users must register an account and provide accurate, current, and complete personal and contact details. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You must immediately notify Golang Health of any unauthorized access to your account.
Consultation fees, call-out rates, and service prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR). Platform transactions and online payments are securely processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (including Paystack, Ozow, and PayFast). Users agree to pay all charges incurred under their account. Invoices and receipts are made accessible through your dashboard.
Golang Health complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA - Act No. 4 of 2013) and the National Health Act (Act No. 61 of 2003). Special personal health information (clinical notes, diagnostic vitals, prescriptions, and lab orders) is stored securely with end-to-end encryption and accessible only by authorized treating practitioners and the patient. Medical records are maintained in accordance with South African statutory retention requirements.
Digital prescriptions generated on Golang Health may only be issued by authorized HPCSA-registered prescribers in compliance with the Medicines and Related Substances Act (Act 101 of 1965). Medications are fulfilled and dispensed exclusively by registered, licensed partner pharmacies.
To the maximum extent permitted under South African law, Golang Health shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from practitioner clinical errors, third-party network outages, or unauthorized access outside the Platform's reasonable technical control.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any legal proceedings arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African High Court (Gauteng Division).
